Cold & Wet Weekend

Weekend was cold and wet. Out came the sweats this weekend as temperatures went down to 42. Today is warmer at 46 with clear skies. We even had to turn on the heater and had to use the quilts on the bed. Looks like the cold weather is here and the hot weather is a thing of the past.
Saturday Rodger finished his work outside and did a lot of burning while I did my laundry and ironed. Went to bed early because we had to get up early for church.
Yesterday was church and once again pastor delivered a great sermon. This weeks sermon asked the Question What Might Have Been as we looked into the betrayal of Judas - What was the price of misplaced values, Wasted Opportunity & Tragedy of a Wrong decision. It left you looking at your own life and how we have made some wrong decisions and wasted many opportunities because of misplaced values.
After service we went out to breakfast at one of our favorite restaurants and ran in to people from church. We invited one of the couple to join us at our table. It was a time of great fellowship as we talked about many things with Pat & Bill May, a couple from our Sunday School Class.
Afterwards it was home, a short nap on the sofa curled up under an afghan then back to church for Rodger to play in the worship band. He didn't stay for services because he was tired and was having some bladder problems - the after effects of his treatments.
Today it is work around the house and go through our winter clothes to see what fits and what has to be given away. I am embarrassed to say that I have gained a lot of weight over the past year. I am not too happy about going through my clothes because I know many will be given away.
