Miserable Weekend..But Blessed By the Lord

What a weekend to be sick. The weather was beautiful with temperatures in the mid 60's and I was stuck in the house with an upper respiratory infection. I woke up sick Friday morning with a bad sinus headache, scratchy throat and filling miserable. Come Sunday I was still feeling bad but at least the headache was better. Stood home from church in case I was contagious. By Monday I was starting to feel like a human being but still plugged up. Today I still have the head congestion but at least I can do something. I hate it when your head is all plugged up and every time you look down you feel like your head is going to explode.
But even though I was feeling miserable and couldn't enjoy the good weather I had to take time to Thank my Lord. He sure knows what we need before we even know there is a need. Casey (Eli & Ethan;s mom) called me Thursday afternoon to let me know that I would not have the boys on Friday because she was called off work. So I didn't have the boys on Friday when this all began. How great is our God!!!!!!! He knew I was going to be sick and fulfilled a need.. to be able to rest and take care of myself.
Today it is weather back to normal for this time of the year.. rainy and temperatures in the upper 30's. So it is stay home catch up on my reading and do laundry.
