The last few months I have been carried by my Lord through a very difficult time. I was in the hospital for abdominal pain then returned a few weeks later for the same ailment. This time I stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks and had surgery for a bowel obstruction.
As we get older it takes a lot longer to recuperate...and it seems like an eternity until we start feeling better. But through it all I knew that my Lord was near, giving me the strength I needed to get through what was going on. After all in Hebrews 13:5 He (Jesus) promises "I will never leave you nor forsake you"

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
For this is where your strength comes to face each day
The soon you'll find,
That your weakness will slip away.
